Bio:

Ganasini, a.k.a Peggy Iris loves her job as a K-8  E.S with MVCS. She has worked out of our So. Humboldt Site office in Redway since 2000. She is originally from N.Y. where she received her teaching credential. She attended graduate school in Eugene, Oregon and worked in various preschools while she was attaining her M.S. in early childhood ed. Ganasini moved to So. Humboldt Co. for her first elementary school teaching job at Beginnings Inc.’s alternative community school called Skyfish in Briceland (which is now a MVCS site as well) in 1980 where she taught language arts and social studies for 4 years. A few years after the birth of her son Bryce, she taught 3-4 and 5-6 grade at Whale Gulch School, another small rural community school for 11 years. She substitute taught in all grades in So. Humboldt and No. Mendocino Co. public schools. Ganasini also shares and practices Standing Wave Yoga with adults and children. She is honored to serve So. Humboldt home school families!
